In the Old port of Tel Aviv
Year ago I had a wonderful lunch in La Shuk. There were 6 of us, we shared dishes and everything was fresh and delicious. Not anymore.
I had a dinner in La Shuk a week ago. La Shuk has deteriorated considerably in just one year. We got rubbery shrimps with canned artichokes in under thick layer of unpleasant fatty sauce. Steamed to oblivion greasy small piece of fish (no crispy skin) that was supposedly drum fish fillet on cauliflower puree (there was no even trace of cauliflower puree). Roasted cherry tomatoes artistically spread over all dishes failed to mask the general sloppiness of food. What a disappointment! We paid NIS 350 for this disgrace of dinner with a firm intention never to return there again.
